Venturi Wet Dust Collector

Wet dustcollector

The EWSC Series Venturi Wet Dust Collector features reliable operation and easy maintenance. It mainly consists of a Venturi tube and a mist eliminator. The Venturi tube serves as the pretreatment section of the whole dust collector. Inside the mist eliminator, intense rotational motion generates centrifugal force, throwing soot and ash droplets toward the wall of the mist eliminator. Pollutants adhere to the water film on the wall and flow down into the lower ash hopper along with the water film.

Venturi Wet Dust Collector (EWSC Series)

Product Overview

The EWSC Series Venturi Wet Dust Collector is mature wet dust removal equipment with stable and reliable performance and convenient daily maintenance. This unit is composed of Venturi tube and mist eliminator. The Venturi tube acts as the pretreatment module. Waste gas accelerates sharply through the Venturi throat, realizing full mixing of dust and washing liquid to capture particulate pollutants initially. Then the gas enters the mist eliminator for secondary separation.

In the mist eliminator, strong rotational airflow creates centrifugal force. Soot and ash droplets are thrown onto the inner wall, captured by the continuous water film, and flow into the bottom ash hopper together with wastewater. It is widely applied for high-concentration dusty flue gas treatment in various industrial scenarios.

Working Principle

1. Dust-laden gas passes through the Venturi tube, forming high-speed airflow; washing liquid is atomized fully to collide and capture dust particles.

2. The gas mixture flows into the mist eliminator and produces violent rotation.

3. Centrifugal force pushes soot and ash droplets onto the equipment wall.

4. Pollutants stick to the water film on the wall and flow down into the ash hopper for discharge.

5. Clean gas is exhausted from the top outlet after separation.
