Different from dry electrostatic precipitators which shake dust off plates into hoppers by rapping, the wet electrostatic precipitator sprays water onto collecting plates to form a continuous water film. Flowing water washes trapped dust into ash hoppers and discharges it along with wastewater.

The ESDC Series Wet Electrostatic Precipitator is high-efficiency industrial dust removal equipment designed for ultra-fine particulate matter, mist and flue gas purification. It is widely used to eliminate fine dust, acid mist, tar and aerosol pollutants in complex industrial waste gas.

The unit sprays water mist directly onto discharge electrodes and corona zones. Working Principle
